Things I’ve Learned In May

Hello! everyone it’s been a while. I’ve been trying to get my footing in school and it’s been so stressful πŸ˜ͺ.I’ve missed you all

I want to share with you some things I’ve learned in May and I’m so excited to share it with youπŸ’ƒπŸ½.

Things I’ve learned in May

1. Sometimes, happiness is found in sharing. Have you ever been upset, sad or unhappy, about a situation? With a heavy heart you walk around? Have you ever helped an old lady crossing the road and then she’s like you look beautiful or handsome or she says oko mi. Smiles. A smile unconsciously creeps up on ur faces.

The joy of seeing someone happy because of something good you’ve done for them gradually, unconsciously rubs on you.

2. Be grateful for the little things you have. The could be the wishes of others. Learn to be appreciative of the those things we consider little for the could be someone’s prayers. Be grateful for the meals you have, many go to bed hungry.

Be grateful for the clothing you have, some have none. Be grateful for the homes you have. Some crave for a shelter. Be grateful for the people you have around . Some have none.

3. Be yourself. You’re simply unique. BE YOURSELF. YOU’RE SIMPLY UNIQUE.

Happy last day of the month πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

The World Was Silent

They first came as traders

Seeking market for their wares.

Welcomed with drums and dancing,

They came the second time

In friendship alongside the sword.

With that arrogance of superiority,

The exploitation began earnestly

To get the people’s wealth:

They traded first with the resources

Then, the people

To build for them their great empire.

People were taken out of their homes

And their people

Into unknown faraway lands,

Beyond the sea; never to be seen.

Never to be heard!

Able-bodied men, women and children

Unconditional love

Most times the need to belong drives us to seek out stable relationships with other people making us compromise our principles just to fit it if we aren’t careful enoughπŸ’πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ.

One of the most beautiful feelings is that of acceptance, to be lovedπŸ’ž for who we are…. Having people who are in love with our flaws, our imperfections, embracing us for being ourselves. They see the good in us and help us out with our imperfections is indeed a blessing πŸ˜‡

And I’m blessed to have such people around me @i_am_pwesh @amingo_smith one loveβ€οΈπŸ’“πŸ’•πŸ’–πŸ’—πŸ’πŸ’ž

My Strengths

“Someone once said,’turn your pain to poetry’ , I turned poetry to my strength”

Well we’ve all faced difficulties one way or the other. We’ve felt pains…

But what do you do in that situation,do you sit mopping around or you turn it to your strengths?

Do your pain make or mar you?
